The Jerusalem Press Club is excited to kick start its 4th international conference on the freedom of the press in partnership with the Union of Journalists in Israel and the Interdisciplinary Center’s Sammy Ofer School of Communications between May 3-6, 2021.
Tasked with covering the events of the past year are reporters worldwide, encountering numerous challenges to reach the scene and obtain credible sources. Many journalists have themselves become victims of incitement or even targeted. The 2021 conference titled “Media in a Polarized Society” will explore these difficulties and discuss opportunities for overcoming them.
