Passing the GED Test can be very difficult to many people. In this video I will explain why you need to be very careful as to the messages you send yourself – especially with respect to your ability to pass the GED. The idea of the video is our brains will focus on the questions we ask it – as such, we need to ask ourselves empowering questions if we want to accomplish big goals like passing the GED test.

The three reasons I can't pass
1. My brain doesn't seem to absorb or comprehend math equations
2. I left school as a freshman in high school so I'm so far behind in math
3. They have made the new GED incredibly hard to pass.
And to be honest the math test shouldn't go past fractions and division

Excellent video! 👍 To anyone worried about not doing well on any of the GED tests I will say that you'll never know where you stand if you don't go and take the test whether pass or fail. I myself thought I couldn't do but I passed all four tests plus four practice tests on the first try and I have the proof! My strategy was to quick study one subject at a time for about a week, take the practice test at home and aim for the green zone or "likely to pass." After that schedule the official test right away while everything is still fresh in your mind and hope for the best!

Taking a 6 week virtual training for this. I heard the teacher is awesome and they have a great success rate with those who take exam after 6 weeks. I’ve been out of school over 20+ years let’s see how this goes! 🙏🏼

Thank you so much! You have really helped motivate me to get moving on my GED again. I failed 2 times the math portion, and have been so afraid of failing again, but this video has given me hope, and I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you again for caring for others to succeed.

I just finished this video. It is fabulous. I'm a retired special education teacher of 22 years. I have spent one year, so far, tutoring a man in his mid-thirties in GED. He has failed the social studies test 3 times and the language test twice if I remember correctly. I focused on language first because he needed much practice in reading and I joined the two needs together since I excel in teaching reading and langauge. This video is what I've been looking for because sometimes other people saying the same thing as me to him might make the needed difference. Thank you very much for this. :)

Thank you so much for making this video. I have fail my GED social studies 5 times already, but I'll keep going. I won't give up. I'm a very positive person, but I still like to see these amazing videos. I really enjoyed your video. Thank you so much!

This is so true. I put off taking my GED for 16 years. Got put in a pinch and had to get it. Studied for 10 day and took all 4 test on the same day. Passed the first time. Just try it so you know what you need to change for the next time.

A nice pep talk for someone else. I happen to know that I can not pass at least three of these exams. I have been out of school for 53 yrs, 53 yrs. This crap was not around when I was in school, never seen any of the math, science, and who cares about nouns, verbs, not me. In fact, I do not care about any of it, just do it to take up time. These exams are NOT for the average person, they are just fine if you are college-ready.

Why I can't pass..
1. What I study and pre test is not on the actual GED test I take in the school.
2. Its to long and boring
3. Its honestly not set up for people who have ADHD or ADD, or really anyone
4. They have vocabulary words that have never once been mentioned ANYWHERE in anything being studied
5. MYGED.COM is a crap sight and takes your money.
6. My score stays the same 144 or 142
7. I can pass just about anything, but the GED sight is a scam.
8. Theres no real structure
9. Social studies has math
10. English has math
11. MATH has even harder math.
12. I CAN PASS BUT WHAT THE HECK DO YOU STUDY WHEN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IS INCORRECT even thought its brand new work for it.
I'm up to date on everything I'm studying for it. But what I'm studying and was given by the school is nothing on the test.

I failed the math portion in 2003 and was so embarrassed, I never tried again. Now I’m 38 and it’s even harder now. So depressing. It’s the only thing holding me back.

I can’t pass because nothing sticks. 5 hours studying everyday plus virtual classes for 12 weeks and I still failed.
