Agreed. Would have been nice to see Linda play her own guitar.

I love that she modified it to fit her needs as a professional working musician. She seems like such an awesome person!

- Windy Lindy. What a beautiful character, and even as she elderly, every inch of her shows the professionality.

She's a legend in her own right. Good story. Glad I came across this

Those effects switches and the 2 outputs for them is something that Les would do. The lady's main influence is definitely obvious here. Gorgeous guitar and obviously well taken care of for all those years. :)

So happy this came up in my feed. She is so proud of that guitar and what she was able to do with it in her years of playing.

It brought tears to my eyes to see the joy in that woman's eyes over that guitar. Her accomplishments appear to be extremely numerous. I don't know if it's the P90 pickups or just the vintage of the guitar but, none of my five Les Paul's have that warm and tone. Love you girl!

This is how I want to go out. Just playing music on instruments I've had forever. This is what it's all about, great memories of great gigs and great friends, doing it your own way. It's so nice to see stories of people who got to live their dream. I'd write more, but this gave me the itch to plug in and crank an amp.

I am from Chicago and just hearing her talk you can tell she is originally from Chicago.. people from Chicago can always point out a fellow Chicagoan just by the way she talks and sounds. What an amazing life this lady has lived and what talent she has playing all those instruments. I was hoping to get a glimpse of her playing that guitar. My grandparents also raised me on Les Paul and Mary Ford. Mary is a very underrated guitarist and could keep up with and match Les lick for lick. I would love to sit down and talk guitar and music with Windy Lindy! I could only imagine how much that guitar would go for... those 1952 LPs had the cool trapeze tailpiece connected to the bridge. I wouldn't even care about how much money somebody offered me because I love guitar so much and to have an original Les Paul guitar and be the only owner like her, Or at least have had it as long as she's had it If she isn't the original owner and to personally have all that history with it like she has, I would never sell that guitar.🎸❤

This history would make for such a good movie! This guitar is as amazing as the owner. Whoever bought it should absolutely keep it intact, and as it is in honour of this amazing player.
Thank you so much fo sharing this story! I've only learned about it through Troggly's guitar show, but it was worth visiting this original video. Shame that it is a bit hard to find.
Greetings from Germany 😃

P90 pickups are not 'humbuckers' they are their own type, like a super single coil, what a stunning guitar! I bet it is a dream to play
