As an American I appreciate these videos from a German perspective. Many English speakers say the German philosophical tradition of the late 18th to 20th century would be the most popular if we just had it translated better

and ironically (or not) the word 'obvious' means etymologically 'before' the 'way', , , kind of curious when referring towards our ontological understanding, and what had/had not been considered up to 1927

mentioning birth, and of course death, it may be even more challenging the first time a human tries to understand that they are born 'in medias res', as we are so sculpted by our beginning and that which was dimly see as our demise, and constructing a 'truth' in our reality as we experience it, despite its inherent temporality and historicity. therein, it's extremely confusing for us to deduce our biases when we are plunged here in the middle, just as everyone before us was as well, and how we're impaired normally in understanding that scale, the potential for change, and the inherent malleability of things. humans are very susceptible to the prescriptions they encounter, and via their mimesis, one witnesses humans enacting the same patterns and reactions that their ancestors did 50, 100, and 1000 years prior.
