A week into owning the Flip 5 I can say I'm already much happier with it than my Pixel 6 Pro, which spends every summer overheating and shutting down after 15 minutes of podcast listening. Love the different folding modes and smaller in my pocket. And I got it cheap with the trade-in. Paired with my new 6 Classic watch I can avoid digging a phone out of my pocket every time it makes a noise. Expecting this foldable to last me 4-5 years.

as someone that has been using some variant of the Z Flip for the last three years; i can confirm if you flip open your phone with that kind of force, you will damage the power cable and RMA your Z Flip in a year. however, i will still use a Z Flip. the 5 is the best one thus far and it's only going to get better. i love how compact it is, especially the functionally on this rendition.

I love my Flip 4 but when I tell you I’m enjoying the hell out of my Flip 5. I don’t care how I get the other apps on the screen, I’m happy with Good Lock. I enjoy the phone and it’s fun! The customization are endless! I’m not fussy with camera and charging so I don’t have those hang ups like everyone else who craps on the phone. It’s a cool phone!

I just got my Galaxy Z Flip 5 yesterday from best buy. I got an amazing deal I originally bought the 512gb graphite version open boxed online for store pick up that stated it was "excellent condition" and it was not, so i swapped it for a new one and i got it for the same $761.99 vs $1000.49. I freaking LOVE IT so much!!!

Installed Good Lock, so i use the cover display about 70% of the time. The Flex mode is quite useful, not only for general use but also photography.

Using my flip 5 for about a week now and it's really fun and efficient. Just wish there was a better battery.

I love my flip 5. It's just so convenient to be able to use the phone one-handed on the bus or train, while your other hand is holding a handle or carrying a bag.
I can easily change my deezer playlist with one hand (deezer works beautifully on the cover screen), or select another youtube video.
Or I can use google maps while navigating through a foreign location, while the other hand is carrying my bag or my camera.
And even in situations where both hands are technically free, it's just so much easier to add a quick note to google keep, using the phone folded.
And what is weird but truly fun is to watch videos on the half-unfolded phone while laying in the bed. It's super convenient because you can see the image, don't have
to put your phone against some object, and still have the nav buttons plane on the surface.
But the strange thing with the flip 5 is that it looks magical when folded with a beautiful image on the cover screen. Like a tiny piece of art.

I love how light and small phone is compared to my pixel 7 pro. Also they finally fixed YouTube shorts since the last time I had a flip. The videos used to get cropped off.

But .. the camera is just ok. I will probably switch back to a pixel or something else. I wonder if Google will ever make a flip pixel.

I bought a 256gb flip for $800 on prime day. Super happy. I always wanted to go back to a flip. Its game changing. Especially for a female. I got a case with a strap and i just use it to carry over my shoulders like a cross body bag. 🎉🎉 super convenient.

I saw the flips and fold phones as a gimmick. Last year and this year have convinced me that the flip (as that would be the one I'd be tempted to get) is not a gimmick. I actually do wanna try one.

Personally just got a PS5. Still haven't paid that kind of money for a phone. My current phone is still under $100.00. Doesn't mean I won't spring for a much better Samsung in the future. But the price doesn't fit the phone. When all the issues are worked out I'll probably get one eventually. Already Gen 5 of the Z Flip and still haven't done anything about the crease besides having the ability to flip the phone. I'm glad and happy about the new Z Flip 5. Yeah, I'll go with my standard: It's great that there are more form-factors and options, but... I'll super pass. This phone is just a giant list of compromises to give me a few novel features I don't want in the first place. Then again I felt the same way about 00s-era flip phones and a lot of people liked those, so... I'll just let people enjoy things lol
