This is one of my most inconsistent, imperfect, color inaccurate, videos I’ve ever made… but the b-roll is gorgeous

Not to mention it looks amazing. Good luck finding any other monitors that look that good.

I just ditched my widescreen LG and bought two Nano glass Studio Displays. Super happy as the displays play well with my M1 Macbook pro which drives them both without any adapters or special software etc. And I run both sets of speakers simultaneously too. Buy once, cry once!

Hello, I note you have been using the Apple Studio Display for a while now, do you experience High Pitch Intermittent Buzzing Noise (like Crickets)?

I just purchased the Studio Display and while connecting at different locations in my home and with different devices (MacBook Pro and iPad), I'm getting a slight buzzing noise in background, which keeps going on and off..

I just ordered one a couple of days ago to go with my IPad Pro M4 and Magic Keyboard. Only regret is that I don’t think I will get a “Full Screen” display…According to Apple, I will only be able to use “mirroring” which will leave me with blacks “bars” on e all sides oof the screen. Still thinks it’s a beautiful monitor.❤ Your set-up looks so clean and uncluttered, really nice!

Do you think Apple will be launching a new version soon? I am thinking of getting one, but I have a feeling that a new version should be released soon, so I'm waiting for some news! Great video!

I was deciding between this and the samsung m8 32". I ended up going with the M8 for like $450. The fact that it's plug and play for most everything like my PS5, Switch and tablet was the deciding factor for me. I will say the speakers on the studio display blow the M8's out of the water. I had to get a separate bluetooth Bose soundlink for me to even listen to any media. If I had money to spare I would have def bought the studio display and just get a capture card to connect my consoles, etc.

who uses a monitor for 5 years? Most of the monitors on the market are easily going to last a decade and more.

Question if I get this monitor and I have a MacBook Pro m2 chip but this studio display is only 60 hertz. If I were to do. 3d renders and AirPlay it to the screen or whatever will I notice lag or anything? The studio display is 4k though. I’m not knowledgeable about this stuff and never owned a monitor before.

For me the most annoying design choice is that the stand is not interchangeable, changing from the regular stand to a monitor arm is not possible. Something Apple could have easily added since it also has been done on the xdr display. And the cable cord…. It’s fixed wtf.

You do a nice job in your video....but you'll get more subs if you cool it on the bad language....just a tip

Wow, built-in speakers, web cam, USB hub, microphone?
I could probably find at lest 100 monitors, that has that!

3:43 You need one (1) more cable to a non Apple display, to do the same as an Apple display. And that's only if you need to use the USB hub functionality. How often do you need that? And even if you need to have ten cables going out from your monitor, which you don't, every decent monitor, like 98% of all monitors on the market, has cable management, so that you don't see any cables going from the monitor.

The Studio Display is a good monitor, even a great one, depending on your needs. But for most people, it's overkill and for those who care, there are better options.
As for plastic vs alu, it's a useless conversation. An alu display doesn't last longer. Yeah, the foot may look better, but that's it. Most have the monitor against a wall, so who cares. You are right about wobbling for many displays, but just about any good display has VESA mount, and you can buy a better stand for those.

nah, for the price, MiniLED or something better is mandatory, I'll buy the next version that justify the price.

27 inches is already small for a 4K monitor, so it being 5k isn't a great selling point. Also there are IPS monitors for much less than $1500 than go up to 1000 nits (AOC, Innocn, etc.) I just saw an Acer one with 1000 nits, HDR, and 240 hz for $800. For the $700 you'd save, you can pick up a much better webcam and speakers than those on the Studio display. I am not convinced here bro 😭
