Tesla’s INSANE SUPERCOMPUTER is only the Beginning

Tesla has begun rolling out its FSD Beta 9 software, as Elon Musk unveils a new smooth UI look for the self driving system. Behind the scenes, FSD is powered by a new supercomputer that Tesla is working on, in advance of a major push o improve the self driving software with Tesla's custom chip powered Dojo Supercomputer. If Tesla's Nvidia-based super computer is the 5th most powerful in the world, then Dojo could be the most powerful when it comes to neural nets and video processing. And finally what will happen to competitors should tesla license out its Full Self Driving software.

One reason Elon wants other OEMs to use Tesla's Auto Pilot is so that someday most EVs can access Boring Company tunnels where FSD will be required for utilization. Speeding to your destination in underground tunnels at 100+ MPH will save unbelievable amounts of time with zero chance of accidents.

I did the math on Tesla's FSD if they solve full autonomy and it's insane. The stock would at least 10x from current values, there's maybe a few percent priced into the current stock price at most.

I think that licensing, will enable the most successful software OS, to be installed in all the different brands of cars that met the requirements

For years. the auto industry, auto insurance companies, and government entities have pushed older people to stop driving due mainly to their slower response times and other possible impairments. Now with the advent of a working self driving system, older, as well as disabled people are a viable market for these vehicles. It opens a whole new safe world to them. Tesla and other would be smart to pursue it. And statistically this same market is made up of more affluent potential customers. Specialty disabled driver packages would be easy to incorporate as an option.

For fully autonomous vehicle travel, nearby vehicles need to communicate with each other, so having a dominant or sole operating system simplifies the coherent movement of vehicles.

Amazing info. Thank you. Though i think the majority of consumers are a way away of caring about full self driving. We are at such a low percentage of the population of consumers even considering going full electric tech, let alone going full self driving tech.

They are not going to replace the nvidia A100 compute modules with their own chips, those nvidia chips are specialised in videos and other parameters treatments.
