It is sad to me that the popular press makes up all these bad analogies with new words. This is intentionally done. It is much much easier to explain how these things work directly but then people become bored. For example, when you find out that X.509v3+ chips on chip cards in your wallet are all "bit coin chains" with billions out there in current use. X.509 is an international ANSI/ISO standard developed in the late 1980s. Bitcoin block chains secured by the same cryptography used in Bitcoin were used since the 1970s, and are far from new. Just the words used to how they worked were new inventions meant to make them sound new. Similarly for these quantum computers. The basic mechanisms are very simple and easy to understand...just hard to believe. So in order to make them hard to understand, the people marketing them as new technologies just describe them with the wrong, but new, words and bad analogies.

This has nothing to do with AI, everytime they say this thing works on "certain applications", an AI operation is not one of them (not yet, and not will be soon), but brute forcing a password is. Stop putting this word "AI" in every bucket. "weird rules", "somehow", "keeping things quantum" are the synonims of "ı dont know" or "you cant understand".. Dude this behavior causes the claims of "tapping parallel universes". It's not that complex but nobody researchs that to understand. it's speed comes from it's logic, and physical conditions that can make this logic works. In binary system "_" has two posibility (0-1), "_ _" has 4 posibility(00, 01, 10, 11) "_ _ _" has 8 possibility because of 2^3=8 and "_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _" 2^10=1024 if a normal computer solves this like in 1024 steps and first digit has 2 process, second digit 4, third digit 8 fourth digit 16 and so on.. But quantum computers flips every digit with one process, it means for a quantum computer, this 1024 steps of processing reduces to only 10 steps. That's because of a paradigm shift between formal transistor and qubit transistor. They put the electrons in super position, they act according to quantum mechanics so "fast" in ther sphere, as like they are in both place in same time. 0 and 1 same time. then one logic gate determines if they need to be 1 or 0 in one process, whther they are 10.th or 500th digit of the calculation. That's why they are so fast. Comparing formal computers with quantum computers is like me racing against a bullet. İf racing line is total linear, It's impossible for me to win against a bullet, but if you put a slight curve to the path bullet wont be able take that curve so, ı will always win.

There's a theory that posits that quantum computers actually tap into the multiverse, and that the set of results of a specific computation equals the set of realities that contain the calculation, each reality adding one result to the set. Probably got that slightly wrong, but it's an intriguing proposal.

Imagine, training an AI model on a quantum system. Were every weight and bias function is in a super position, and every possible configuration of the AI model can be tested at the same time.

I wonder how they would even validate the answer the quantum computer provides? Especially if it's a question that would take a conventional super computer millions of years. It's like the scene from the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy where the answer to the "Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" is the number 42. :/

Sounds greade with the universe's but in reality it's simple running through x numbers at the same time still logical numbers. So nothing compared to parallel universe theory.
