I made this 3D Animation of the cover of Tyler, The Creator's classic 2013 Hip-Hop Album Wolf. I tried to stay as true as possible to the original cover made by the legendary Mark Ryden. To accomplish that I modeled everything very asymmetrically and painted a lot of textures by my own hand. It's worth watching the animation multiple times to look at different details I incorporated in the frame. Making this took me two weeks of straight work day in and day out. There's a lot of love in the animation and there's truly nothing I didn't put my attention to.

Bro i noticed that the tree’s eyes closes when tyler is near/looking at it and opens when he’s not looking or far away.

Guys if you say that I got his face wrong specify if you actually think I tried to make his real life face because why would you think that? LOOK at the Wolf Cover! It's a Mark Ryden PAINTING.
