I opened a brokerage account on Fidelity in addition to my 401 K. I started with FXAIX and I have automatic deposits every month. It is really cool to watch grow. After listening and learning from the podcast for the past few months I felt confident enough to go in and reallocate my contributions in my retirement account and took my money out of some high cost mutual funds and went with the 90/10 portfolio.

I had a question, so do you think that having multiple index funds is fine? I heavily invest in S&P 500 and probably want to invest in the FSKAX and FNCMX. or should I diversify the index funds? I have a long time until I retire so I’m not too worry about building growth fast. Thanks!

The Last one is the only one I can't wrap my head around. WHY would we ever want to hold bonds in our portfolio? It appears it would be better to hold that in a CD or MMA pulling 4-5% yields. Bonds are losing!

Good insight and well presented. I hold FXAIX and have for a long time. I have had good luck with FGRIX and FLPSX as well. These make up the core of my investments. Total market funds are a good way to go as well and you addressed this nicely. Your approach to the 3 Fund portfolio is pretty "Old School" however. There are more recent takes on this model that are well thought out and are providing better long term returns. Anyway, thanks for the content. Cheers
