If you’re wondering why “Akuma” is banned in Japan, it’s because “Akuma” is the Japanese word for “devil”

Note on the Russian case with 420. According to the Wikipedia:
«420, 4:20, or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) is cannabis culture slang for marijuana and hashish consumption, especially smoking around the time 4:20 p.m (16:20). It also refers to cannabis-oriented celebrations that take place annually on April 20 (4/20 in U.S. form). At locations in the United States where cannabis is legal, cannabis dispensaries will often offer discounts on their products on April 20.»

Every girl born in Morocco in the late 80's and throughout the 90's has Sara/Sarah as a name, it was even a joke to call somebody baby girl a Sarah because most certainly she had that name anyways. The banned name was Sandra which was lifted in the early 2010's after a Soussi man protested and had the support of Amazigh organisation that pressed demandes and advocated for the name use, even if it's more associated with being Western girl name rather than an Amazighi one.

There is no way a name could be banned in the USA. There is no mechanism to do that and as it would violate the 1st Amendment to the Constitution in a dozen or more ways it would be illegal.

Besides, I have met a young man named King. It was his first name and on his birth certificate.
