Retired Aussie Armoured Corps soldier here. I can see similarities unique to the Israeli MBT Merkava. And I suspect it is a development of the Merkava but with probably so much upgraded, it deserves a new name. Similarities - profile both hull and turret, rear access door, powerpak in the front, track system similar, - no rubberpads. I am wondering if Merkavas are being converted to the upgrade Barak which, with approx 2, 000 Merkavas manufactured, makes economic sense. To all armoured crewmen of the world, I salute you. We all known the hardships, comradeships, privations, dangers, etc of being AFV crewmen.

I'm already imagine what slow motion filming could do with this fantastic tank. Every moment would hold anticipation if I could watch this weapon firing a shot, then hitting a poor target in slow motion! I'm not saying it has to be a targeted enemy either, this tank deserves to have a little bit of fun and boast what it can do. Slow motion, honest bragging even! My prayers that tanks never need angry use, that peace be gladly recognized for exactly what it is. Once upon a time, a sole child picked up a rock and threw it at another human being. That child once stood out like sore thumb does. Now, every child wants to grow big enough to throw rocks along with the rest. That's how the news would have us believe anyways. We can believe as we wish though. I see anger, but I know not all are angry. Maine, USA says "Hello" again. Thank you for sharing current happenings with us all. Oh what a world it would soon be if the internet and phones stopped working for a time, then kicked back on after we had had to unite together because we kind of had to just to even find out what was going on in the world. For achieving the destruction of military vehicle, you must have: the factor of surprise, accuracy, and speed. One fighter with anti tank missile, could not be seen by the tank, but the tank is very visible to the fighter. A good guerrilla fighters can cause be catastrophe if they implement the right tactic
