Mount Kosciuszko Summit - Australia's Highest Mountain

Mount Kosciuszko is Australia's highest mountain standing at 2,228m. It is situated in Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales.

We started from Thredbo, taking the Kosciuszko Express chairlift, then got our walk on to the summit.

Booked a cabin in Jindabyne for next March for a few days already (took a punt we'll be able to travel across state border) so that I can climb Mt Kosciuszko on my birthday :) Thanks for the destination inspiration.

You got to wonder which brainiac decided to push a road through to the summit of Australia’s highest mountain eh? Beautiful area, amazing alpine landscape with a scar right though the middle.
