Ellen Pompeo opens her heart about Patrick Dempsey

in a recent interview for the program Red Table Tallk, when questioned about the state of her friendship with former co-start ,Patrick Dempsey, Ellen admits that they haven't talked since the actor left Grey's Anatomy in 2015. However, for the happiness of the fans of this friendship, such as me, Ellen confesses that she'll always have a speacial place in her heart for Patrick.

I remember meeting her. She was very kind to me, but she was on set for an interview and didn’t have to do anything other than that. But she went out of her way to call me into her dressing room after she heard I wanted to meet her. This was right after season six, so she was telling me about the difficulties the actor had when he played the active shooter. I was only a teenager at the time.
If there’s one thing I felt from Ms. Pompeo, it was a gentle authenticity. She is not an abrasive person but her aura is also confident. She really is a special woman, I think.

I am rewatching the show right now and I gotta say, There's no way that you could say they have zero chemistry. It's oozing from side to side. I couldn't explain really. I just know that hidden behind the amazing acting that they both performed is a box of actual fascination or longing or something intimate which remained unopened forever. IT WAS SO REAL
