Built hundreds of years ago, this castle was home to many of Romania's greatest leaders, including its Queen and most notably, Vlad Tepes, the inspiration behind Dracula. Winding through the narrow alleyways and staircases of the castle, you are transported back into time, hundreds of years ago, to medieval Romania! Join me as we explore the castle of Dracula!

The actual Vlad the Impaler castle is actually down south on the renown Transfagarasan route. Unfortunately it has been destroyed many centuries ago only the foundations are still there. Fun fact it is still dangerous to visit it but not because of vampires but bears.
