How To Install Internet Explorer Mode On Windows 11 [Tutorial]

Microsoft has just revealed, a couple of days ago, that the highly popular Internet Explorer will be disabled in the new Windows 11.

Some users were thinking that Internet Explorer might still be present in Windows 11, until the point in which developers decided to delete it, but apparently, this app will never make it to the new OS‘ roster.

Even though an Internet Explorer update for Windows 11 will never come, there are ways in which you go work around this issue.

Windows 11 is probably the first version of Windows that does not explicitly include Internet Explorer. Though there will be hardly any users missing the ancient web browser, the websites configured to run best on Internet Explorer didn’t just cease out of existence overnight.

Hence, for such websites, Microsoft did keep a way to load Internet Explorer dependent websites in a compatibility mode in Microsoft Edge. However, the option may not be enabled by default in Windows 11, and users requiring the compatibility for Internet Explorer will have to dig down the Edge browser settings to enable the option.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 11 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung.

you just installed, you have not show to open it. once you try you will not find Internet Explore.

Thank you for the video, but you are missing the most important part... how to open IE! After 20 minutes I figured it out. Open Edge > Settings > Scroll Down to "ReLoad in Internet Explorer Mode." You should get an option the first time to always load to IE.
