18 Final Drive Ratio Gear

Tutorial on Final Drive Ratio (Gearing) in the iRacing Next Gen Cup Car. Shows how changes to this setting affect the car. Lower numbers mean higher gears (more top speed/slower accelleration). Higher numbers mean lower top speed but faster accelleration. Note, you may have to adjust the gearing as the handling of the car improves and it is able to reach higher speeds when building your setup ups. Gearing also affects fuel mileage. Lower gear uses more fuel, higher gear uses less.
