Not a citizen, no vote. If you can't prove you are a citizen, you aren't one. If you haven't properly registered, no vote. If you are really interested in voting you will take the time to make sure that you can vote legally.

This shouldn’t be an issue taking up time in our legislature. No country wants no-citizens to vote except democrats in Congress. They want more power by increasing democrat seats. They should not be counted to increase seats.

I'm a senior and remember voting requirements in Indiana which were established to safeguard our elections. You were assigned a nearby polling place in a neighborhood school or community center. These polls were staffed by volunteers, mostly retirees. You went in and stopped at the first table where they checked your ID against a big book of all registered voters in that location. You were not able to vote in a general election unless you had previously showed up to vote in the primary. You placed your signature in the book, and then were directed to a private booth with a curtain where you filled in the spots. You gave your ballot to a volunteer as you stepped out. Then you got your sticker. This was how it was in Indiana and made it impossible for busloads of paid voters to be driven from poll to poll. A drop box would never be allowed.
