Thank you, Jonny. I wanted to replace my 2018 Honda HRV battery and your advice was very useful. However, I found that using jumper cables as you suggested to save radio identity and preset data was just too cumbersome given the configuration of my battery terminal clamps in this Honda Model which was different than the model in the video. Fortunately, I found out by trial and error that in my 2018 HRV the Honda Link on board (as equipped) feature made it unnecessary to clamp on jumper clamps. After I used the rest of the methods you showed in the video, when I started up the HRV, the radio screen with Honda Link guided me thru two steps to self/auto reboot the radio, GPS and it's other options automatically ( i stumbled across this because my owners manual and materials provided at purchase 4 years ago did not include any radio ID/reboot info as my 2009 Honda Fit did and required). I make these comments just to perhaps assist others in changing their battery in a model such as mine. Thank you again for you very excellent and helpful video!

Honda does not recommend you use another power source like another vehicle battery, it may cause you to send the alternator into a charging made which could damage your electronics or blow fuses ..

I've had to replace my battery in 2018 CRV, I keep getting voltage readings as low as 12.32 while the car is running. This is with no load etc. Honda keeps saying there's nothing wrong. SMH
