This Is BAD NEWS For 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Owners

WE HAVE BAD NEWS FOR HONDA LOVERS, well, During the TFL Slip Test, the newly redesigned 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid FAILED to Perform as Anticipated! WE KNOW IT IS SHOCKING AND DISHEARTENING, but if you're looking out for this particular model, you need to watch this whole video to come to some conclusion, welcome back to TECH ADDICTS, we provide you all authentic and transparent information that helps you take a rational decision when it comes to automobiles, so let's not waste any time and get into the video!

A handful of the all-wheel drive traction tests are difficult to pass for the redesigned Honda CR-V Hybrid. THE NEW HONDA CR-V HYBRID should offer the best of all worlds in terms of fuel economy as well as a driving experience that is safe and comfortable on a daily basis.

Using the TFL Slip Test, Tommy puts a variety of all-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles through their paces to determine which ones perform the best. THE MAJORITY OF AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS sell the majority of their crossovers specifically for their combination of practicality and dynamics. However, how does Honda's most recent hybrid crossover perform when put under scrutiny? To summarize, its performance was not at all what we had anticipated. Watch the following video to see how it turned out.

THE 2023 HONDA CR-V HYBRID RETAINS much of the same mechanical underpinnings as the previous generation's model. In addition to an electric motor that is positioned on the back axle, this new model utilizes an Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine that is 2.0 liters in displacement. Together, the components of the system are capable of producing 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.

In contrast to the TOYOTA RAV4 HYBRID, Honda's solution utilizes a mechanical all-wheel drive system, which directs the power from the electric motor to the front axle only when it is necessary to do so. It is possible that the lack of a physical connection between the gasoline engine and the electric motor in the Toyota, which is what we replicate with the TFL Slip Test and what drivers experience in the real world on the onX Off Road course, will be problematic in certain situations in which the rear wheels lose traction.

IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT THE CR-V HYBRID PERFORMED ADMIRABLY in two-wheel traction loss scenarios, the results of the three-wheel slide test, in which only one wheel at a time is actually making contact with the ground, were not particularly encouraging. These tests are aimed to highlight a range of real-world scenarios that you'll want to consider when comparing the exceptionally competitive crossover market segment to the Honda CR-V Hybrid, but it doesn't mean that the Honda CR-V Hybrid is a bad car by any stretch of the imagination.

Lets us look at the pros and cons list of the 2023 HONDA CR-V HYBRID, to be a bit more precise about the model,

Since its introduction to the market in 1997 as one of the very first compact SUVs available in the North American market, the Honda CR-V has been a customer favorite. But it has not been able to keep up with the competition in the market, and as a result, it has lost ground over the years to an expanding number of rivals whose designs are superior. Honda has successfully navigated their way back onto the right path with the launch of the revamped CR-V in 2023.

The redesigned Honda CR-V has a roomier and more high-end interior that is also somewhat larger than before. The sport-utility vehicle (SUV) has been updated with additional technological features, including a MORE ADVANCED INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM.

Is it just me or does it bother anyone else that an SUV doesn’t have a spare tire?

I tested the CRV 2023 two weeks ago on very bad roads in the third world, my experience was exceptional with a soft suspension, excellent handling in curves, very refined vehicle, acceleration is very good, I have no complaints, since it is a family vehicle, I had the 2019 rav4 With a hard suspension, not very pleasant on curvy roads, fuel consumption is not good, in fact I changed it for a Civic 1.5 T, which I own to this day. Honda CRV is an excellent vehicle.

I have a 2023 CR-V hybrid and I totally disagree with the cons in this video, visibility, brakes, noise, etc are fine in this new model, It seems that Tech Addicts does not drive a CRV to do the review.

I have a 2023 CR-V Hybrid; driven 3450 miles so far on various highway types in FL AL, and TN—no problems with AWD. I m averaging 42.4 MPG City/Highway; the key being taking advantage of road grades which activate "EV" mode, even up to speeds over 70 MPH.

I had a RAV-4 SE 2018. Paid $36, 000 for it. It was horrible in any type of snow situation. My wife's CRV was much better. That was real world driving for me in North Dakota. My new CRV has a 50-50 split for power in AWD. Much better than a toy suv.

MAN! You take FOREVER to get to a/the point! Unconvincing review, on the whole, and needs editing...badly. Yikes.

Our 2023 CRV Hybrid is great so far…17, 000kms and counting. Will find out soon enough what it’s like in the snow.

I am usually very wary of voice-over videos like these that compromise mainly of clips from the press release and other random sources. The fact that you even included a clip of a DOHC I-6 engine and a diesel 2012 -2015 CRV makes me take you even less seriously.

I'm almost guessing this was 'ghost written/videoed' by Toyota. . .? ? Too many 'lame' comments and 'nits' - but good ones too. . Totally agree with the 'turbo' lag frustration . . . my No 1 issue with my Acura RDX.

Terrible review. Talked a lot and said nothing helpful or informative.

Not worth the gas savings. If you hold the vehicle to the point of a battery replacement, all that savings over a EX-L is lost costing more than just the gasser
