Hello! I'm an elementary school teacher and just want to confirm that this method works for 1-digit X 2-digit multiplication. I tried it out, and as long as you carry things over, so far it works.

I'm in class 10 next month there's exam which will decide my whole future but because of this corona and my family problem can't study whole year and since my childhood I don't know multiplication but this helped he even though my chances of passing is lower then earth getting hit by an asteroid this just increased it thank you from the deepest of heart

There is a quite different algorithm to multiply two numbers having digits greater than 1, 2 and 3. Keep that in mind.

Honestly I dreamed about this after my birthday. Before I saw this I have proof that I made this type of multiplying numbers by myself.

The dream was so realistic. It really taught me how to do this. After that dream and I woke up I was so nervous try this. But I really tried what I had seen in my dream, and it was true!

Please, can anyone tell me who invented this because it was just an invention of my dream.

So with the final answer you went left to right, but with 2 digits I saw people go right to left. So when you get your final answer should I write left to right when I solve three digits problems and right to left when I solve 2 digit problems.

They actually do first number * first number = first digit, last number * last number = last digit, first * last + last * first = middle digit
