I fell really HARD (once on front, once on back of head ) about 6-7 mos ago. Having other physical problems, it’s difficult to do physical things. That said, I find I CAN swim with much less agony (pain). My brain is my favorite body part….so understand WHY blood flow to the brain is paramount to recover. I’m in Florida (hi, Dr P) so at this time of year that pool water 💦 feels good 👍🏼 and today I’ll work for a heart rate that’s progressive. Love your books. 📚 The neurologist says scans show blood bleeds are deep within…or we’re deep within. Nothing done… but yes.. I’m fortunate exercise might help. Possibly supplements & more organic foods.

I would love to see you propose that the Mediterranean diet may have missed an important factor. That factor being the propensity of snacking on Allulose rich pitted dates both before and between meals.

Medical experts have been telling us that walking is good.
Recently, some even say walking is superior to running or other
exercises. But I have observed walking at very slow speed (less than 2 miles per hour)
or walking slow with a walker do not improve people’s physical capability or cognitive
function. Both keep declining. This should not be a surprise because slow walking does not increase heart rate much and blood flow to brain does not increase much. Slow walking also does not build enough skeletal muscles all over one’s body. If one cannot walk at moderate speed, he/she needs to
rebuild skeletal muscles first by performing resistance training. Balancing exercise comes after rebuilding skeletal muscles. It is the skeletal muscles which keep our balance. Without strong skeletal muscles, you cannot keep balance. Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, in her book “Forever Strong”, emphasizes the importance of keeping skeletal muscles as we age.
