I Tested The FPS of 5 Minecraft Optimization Modpacks. This is a NEW Minecraft 1.21 video. In this video, I am going to compare 5 Minecraft performance/optimization Modpacks. All Modpacks try to achieve the same thing. They try to make your Minecraft run better, with more FPS and generally more optimized. But which pack has the most raw performance? Which one gets the most FPS in-game? Today, I am testing 5 optimization Modpacks. All for Fabric and Minecraft 1.21. I set some standardization rules, to make the test more fair between packs. Let's see which pack is the best. It's very epic, fun, amazing and poggers! This will make playing Minecraft insane and amazing! Your players will absolutely love it! I had lots of laughs and fun. Hopefully, you'll get some useful information from this video. I love Minecraft fun!

1. It's on idle
2. When moving
3. Same seed
4. No particles, fancy, all settings are on the lowest
5. Using msi afterburner

Cpu: intel celeron 1.80ghz
Gpu*: intel uhd graphics
Ram: 3.88gb

Simply optimize
When idle:
Minimum: 28fps
Maximum: 68~70fps

When moving:
Minimum: 5fps
Maximum: 37fps

Fabulously optimize
When idle:
Minimum: 78fps
Maximum: 84fps

Performium
When idle:
Minimum: 100fps
Maximum: 158fps

When moving:
Minimum: 8~10fps
Maximum: 20fps

Remarkably Optimize
On idle:
Minimum: 10fps
Maximum: 121fps

When walking:
Minimum: 2fps
Maximum: 63fps

I own a steam deck and it gets 80-90 frames with no mods, with performium I averaged around 600 fps with 900 being the highest I hit.

There is no way that fabulously optimized is better than simply optimized in terms of fps 😂

create a virtual machine with few system resources (e.g. 2 cpu cores and 8gb ram) or do it on a laptop and do the performance there. us laptop users can have varying results because of the amount of mods installed

There's one big problem with your method: there are a lot of different devices. Mostly PC/Laptop mix. If the modpack creator doesn't have a mod that would tell you to close everything on your computer and let it make some tests for like 10-30 minutes and autoset the settings while doing so, there's NO WAY the modpack creator can somehow magically set up the modpack to work good for you.
That means you really need to tweak the settings

Performium 7:38 (FPS 1461)

I've tried out Performium on my system and it runs relatively terribly. Using Flowstate's Better Adventures+ modpack, which isn't even focused on optimisation I get about 1200-1500FPS without shaders during normal gameplay. Performium gets about 700FPS. I GENUINELY don't know what's up with that since I'd expect a modpack focused on optimisation to get at bare minimum the same performance

Performium gets me insane fps on the first minute or so and then it gets to like 12 fps. I’m on an m3 MacBook Air with 24 gb of ram and a 10 core gpu. I just wanted to test it and I get more fps on vanilla Minecraft (v. 1.21)
