Stetson Education: The Right Way to Wear a Hat

Years ago, the little silk ribbon bow located on the sweatband inside a hat was used to hold the band in place. Now, it's an excellent reference point for how to wear your hat. Just remember bow in the back. #ItsAStetson

yes I grew up doing historical reenactment. Hats often had a shoestring sort of bow run thorugh the sweatband that could be tightened or loosend to fit the wearer.

Nice, but my front brim is much lower, right above my eyebrows. When the front brim is too high up on the forehead it gives a "friendly cowboy" vibe.
