I am planning to do a similar sort of thing with 18ct white gold. I am concerned about the material not springing back (the metal being annealed in the process of soldering it is quite plastic and seems to lack elasticity) the material is 0.5mm thick and 5mm wide.

If I heat it and let it cool without quenching will that harden it?

Any advice?

hi, can you tell me the thickness of the metal . I guess 0, 6 mm
