This game was pretty nice when i first played it and completed it. the sad parts is that there were only 30 main levels and the levels were all extremely short, as well as classic sonic having shitty controls/physics. i liked the modern sonic/avatar gameplay. as well as the avatar creation. but the part was the story that got me. the story seemed a bit too gritty and dark when i played it. but when i went into episode shadow, and then the comics, it felt pretty legitimate to be considered a story. this game was pretty mediocre with the cons i pointed out, but the pros is what makes it an inbetween.
7/10 Sonic Game for me. pretty good sonic game for those who enjoy a more casual game.
Honorable Mention: the lore behind the game, dlc, and comics gave more opportunity for AU/OC fanatics

Sonic Forces was my first modern sonic game, after playing Mania on the switch, I thought classic was gonna die, but no, I now know the sequence.

you might say sonic 06 was worse than this game but even sonic 06, despite being a buggy mess, had some remnants of story and some actual semi- decent gameplay

I love that scene where Classic Sonic saves Tails from Chaos. It shows just how much Tails can't function without Sonic, and just how much Tails needs Sonic, doesn't it?

Sonic fans are crazy, as someone whos been getting back into sonic and trying to start with the easier games first ive realized with every single game (not even just this or 06) everyone has something to complain and gripe about, i personally enjoyed this game, can we maybe stop harassing people who dont spend their entire life sitting in their nasty bed complaining about every single thing that bothers them in the slightest? I dont care if you're a "die-hard original sonic fan" you can hate this game if you want but why are you gonna attack and tell others to off themselves for liking it 💀
