I enjoyed this game and Loved the Original Character designer the most. This game's visuals are very well made. I have always wanted to make up my own Sonic Characters, and I ended up making 15 unique characters of my own, and I had fun thinking up cool bio ideas in notes.

There were lots of things I liked watching the walkthrough, but I really do think there are certain things they should have spent more time on. The customization looks like it needs work, but I might try this game out for myself at some point to see if the gameplay lives up to what I just saw. We'll see, but it looks somewhat promising. I do think Infinite was beaten too easily.

I don’t understand the hate I’ve seen for this game. The gameplay looks great, the story is great, I would GLADLY watch a full series based on this concept of “Sonic and his friends at war after Eggman succeeds”. Yes I know Sonic Underground exists but it’s a completely different thing altogether. Could the game have used for fleshing out? Yeah, but it was good and it’s got SO much potential. I love how many characters it had in it (Silver and Team Chaotix?? Yes please!! 😭), and I love the post credit scene of “hey, this doesn’t mean this is the end of things, we actually have to REBUILD from war now that the war is over”. There’s no “the battle is done, that’s that” and ignoring the destruction. Addressing it was a GOOD writing choice. I think there could have been improvements in some areas here and there, but most every game can have improvements. But this looks like a great game imo. Taking the thought of “what would the others do if they lost Sonic” was a great thought process, and I love that they made Master Emerald guardian Knuckles the Resistance leader. A+ game, in my opinion.
