This is such nonsense . People are not fools . They understand post tax returns . And yes debt funds offer returns with some risk depending on interest rate movements. do note with current capital gain provisions, debt funds held for 3 years get taxed with indexation and last few years effective tax rate is ten percent . I n taxable income below Rs. 10lakhs, fixed deposits at current rates make a lot 9f sense
