The biggest change I made to the original design
is the main gear, that previously had much bigger pitch, so It didn’t work well with 0.8 gears
found on all cine lenses. That, and removed a logo from the lid and change the size of one of the rods from 5cm to 3cm.

Link to all parts with my changes:

Link to the original design:

*I might have used lithium based grease, don't do that because it can eat the plastic,
use only Silicon based grease*

Made this thing at the start of uni when I started using Fusion 360 and completely forgot about it until now! Great to see people sorting out the issues with it and keeping it going, really great video man!

Cool, but why not make the part of the rods designed for the gears square or hexagonal and just have them fit in place rather that having it rely on the bond with the glue and possibly have them fail when used with lenses that require you to use a high amount of torque to pull focus?

That looks nice, would be great to modify for a single rod mount.

I wonder if you can also print the screw

Hello! This is amazing work and thanks for sharing. Is this printed 0.8mod gear durable? I want to print one for my lens but I am not sure how long will they last
