❗DISCLAIMERS
- Vaonis sent TNTT this loaner unit, but my opinions are not swayed by that fact. Never ever.

Thanks for your comments. I bought one and am disappointed with it but to be honest have not given it a fair trial in a dark sky outside of Phoenix where I live with lots of light pollution. You are right on about hard to get your phone aligned and not bump it. Some people are 3D printing adapters that are fixed so might try that. But the very limited exposure of only I think maybe 20 stacked images of 1 second each it cannot seem many deep space object even with my iPhone 15 pro smartphone which is about the best you can buy for this. I’m wondering if I can take multiple “mini stacked” images and stack them with some PC stacking software to get a better image?

Can I confirm that for the whole setup to work properly, the handphone's compass must be properly calibrated first?

Your review of the Hestia "Smart" Telescope is generous to say the least. If you want to view the moon a dinky 50mm alt-az scope more than fills the bill. Manually finding DSO instead of a "robot" would seem tedious in light polluted cities and suburbs. Like Dwarf 3 or Seestar it's mostly useless for planets. The phone holder magnets seem to be a kludge. I would opine the only thing Gen-Z about this toy is it needs a smartphone. Dwarf 3 or Seestar just seem so much better options than the Hestia despite higher prices.
