My head cannon is that Hiccup Haddock from How To Train Your Dragon is high functioning autistic. Just think about it, he was ostracized by his village because he was somehow different from them, he couldn’t be around people for very long when he started to get attention (as in over stimulation) and he had to leave and then hang out with Toothless (his coping mechanism). Heck, in fact he hyper fixates on one thing at a time: first trying to kill a dragon, second trying to learn more about nightfuries, then trying to help Toothless fly again. Just think about it.

Norma was personally the best charecter with autism I’ve seen in a while, its wasn’t obvious that they had it for a while, then we slowly learned about it. The anxiety and awkwardness was so real about real people with autism.
