I use to teach at the Murrieta Valley Golf Range, where Rickie grew up and now owns. He and Big B would practice in the chipping green side bunker for hours. Barry would have him use only his left hand on the club and hit a ton of balls that way. I am 15 years older than Rickie and myself along with one of the other pros, Ben P. The main grounds keeper Jay C. Another youngster, Zeb P. and Lisa D. Would play "range golf" when it rained because the owner, Bill T. would close the range to the public but let us employees and special customers have fun. Rickie was the little youngster keeping up with all of us, and we were all pretty good players. I miss those days and Big B very much. I'm very happy to see my old friend doing so well. Now it's time to win Augusta, Rickie. Big B's favorite tourney. Go get em, Little Hawk!! Murrieta Loves You!!!

I wish rickie could see my comment and know that I was in this situation in my member-member on Sunday, the literal day after I saw this video. Plugged and close to the lip maybe 10 yards from the pin. I swung as hard as I possibly could and cleared the lip to put it 8 feet from the pin!
