That whiskey one is just unacceptable. Sure, it was only a small amount, but they did it to this kid every single time anything happened to him. I don't even know if it was a punishment or because he didn't like vomiting when he was sick or what.

I guess this one isn’t a punishment but weird to be confronted about it. I was in 3rd grade and was getting a pencil out of my pencil-box when I accidentally put it on the side of the table and pushed hard and it snapped. Next thing I know teacher is right next to me and asks “why did you break that pencil? We might have to talk to the principal, ” as I was very confused I said “it was on accident” then she says “yeah right” and walks away, I was very confused and so was the class

I mean, a couple of these are fine. Making the kids do an essay about the dangers and repercussions of something is a good idea, or locking them out of their room for one evening, or stuff like that. I mean, it's harmless and corrective, instead of punishing. But some others?? Many of those parents would have to get their kids taken away

When I was 15 my dad beat me unmercifully with a belt, pants down. Why? I had accepted a quarter (25 cents) from my grandmother who told me not to tell, and then SHE went out and said she did it and I said 'no, she didn't'. I got the beating when it was my gran who should have gotten it. All over a quarter. I've hated my dad for 50 years for that humiliating and undeserved beating.

I was messing with my mom by wearing my glasses stupidly... so she took them for a few hours. Now, a few years ago this wouldnt have affected me, but now my sight is so had im sure i could classify as legally blind. So for a few hours i was sitting on my bed with my phone half an inch from my face watching anime (I WAS SO HAPPY IT WAS DUB CUZ I WASNT GONNA BE ABLE TO READ SUBTITLES) cuz i was to afraid of leaving my room and slipping or stepping on a dog or something. As bad as it sounds that was by far the funniest punishment ever
