for african dishes, i am from morocco and i REALLY recommend trying out couscous from a restaurant ! it is very hard to make ...just incase you find it in your menu at your visit to a restaurant hopefully you'll check it out!

Hello South African here, I would recommend trying vet-kock, it is a great dish and my favorite dish from my home country, you can add a tomato soup on the side or just eat it plan I prefer to eat it with ground beef in, but that is my personal favorite food from my country✨️🎀

Why the America one does not look good is because you need to use the darker color + less saturated color for the shadows. Keep in mind the values. It takes practice, but you can do it!

For the question about step-by-step vs Time-lapse I love watching time-lapses of people drawing but they are way too fast for me to follow when I actually want to learn something so when it comes to a tutorial I definitely prefer step by step.
