Why This CRAZY Paganini Exercise Is So HARD! (Try At Own Risk...)

The way that the down- and upstrokes are placed here is really challenging and that's what makes this technique exercise so powerful. We usually tend to place our picking strokes in a very guitarist-friendly way when we are shredding - right here, we often have to switch between the different strings in unexpected positions in each measure.

Genau das übe Ich seit 2 Wochen... Allerdings in den Bünden 9-12. Die Übung ist extrem effektiv. War anfangs schon ziemlich schwierig, da erstmal reinzukommen und dann noch zum Metronom zu spielen, aber wenns dann mal läuft ist es echt der Hammer.

I'm trying this after a guitar break of over 5 years. Phew! I can do it at 60, 70 & 80, but am struggling at 90. I think what might help me is if I now speed up the metronome by 5 clicks instead of 10 each time & have some more patience!
