The Spiderwick Chronicles scared me so much as a kid

"Horns" is one of our favorites on the list. It's one of those movies that didn't turn out how you'd expect! Plus it's always a treat to see Daniel Radcliffe in non-Harry Potter roles!

Pan's Labyrinth is a brilliant film IMO. My favorite Guillermo Del Toro film. The creature makeups are so amazing. Doug Jones is fantastic. The Horror elements are beautifully done. Both the fantasy and "real life" ones. The little girl actress was so great. Can't recommend it enough. One of my all time favorite films.

I've seen Pan's Labyrinth when I was a kid and it scared me a litttle. But it remained my favorite movie and I still watch it from time to time. It's a classic and that good 😊

I've watched 9, Horns, Errementari, He Never Died, and Pan's Labyrinth, and Mary and the Witches Flower is in my list. I'll have to check out the Spiderwick Chronicles, too. The ones I have seen were all great. I've been scrolling through the comments and I'm sorry that so many people in other countries don't have the same access to the movies on this list that we have in the US. :( I would hope that Netflix takes the hint and gets better access for their foreign customers.

Pan's is still my favourite del Toro film. For me, it's his best and it isn't even close.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend "He Never Died." It's a terrific movie if you're into horror movies of that type. Henry Rollins is wonderful as a "been there/done that" immortal being trying to keep from relapsing into cannibalism. His backstory is amazing and I keep re-watching the last 10 minutes alone because I can't help myself, it's just that good.

If you are a fan of fantasy and horror, definitely look out for Tumbbad from 2018. It's an Indian film. You'll be shook with the meaning it holds throughout and by the end of the film.
