Never mind the new Pokemon dlc is perfect. The synchro machine feature in the indigo disk pokemon dlc2 changes everything. Lugia swimming animation, dexoys wiggle run, suicune walking on water, their texture. Everything is on point thanks to pokemon creatures inc.

As someone who grew up with Soul Silver, Lugia's swimming animation is everything to me.

I have a total of two gripes with this DLC:

1. Obviously, the Legendary's are shiny locked.
2. The synchro machine only works in the Terrarium (it's still incredible but imagine walking through Area Zero as this)

But other than that, I think they hit home with this. Kitakami left me wanting more and this is perfect.

I still love how Walking Wake also runs on water, it's such a subtle detail that goes a long way.

I think general rule of thumb when doing this is to do it with a friend, so incase you find a shiny you can have them go there and run to it

i'm glad that suicune and walking wake can walk on water. it does the same thing in pokemon ranger and its her main ability as a ride pokemon.

These animations are very nice and is definitely a huge step up in terms of presentation quality for these guys. But I feel like they’re desperately lacking some pretty particle effects here and there. Like dust when they step on the sand, water ripples as suicune walks on the surface, etc

0:16 I'm actually totally shocked to how awesome and well the DS version of this rendition of Lugia doing the classic deep swim looked. The colour tones are a mood, dare I say so much better than the OG GBC one and even rivals the SV engine as they poured every single transistor of CPU power into that title screen. I might have to 'give' that one to the DS(!!) However: SV comes right back with Suicine though. Need I say more, , the animation, _that_ Crest. It's Wonderful! 💎

Proud of them for making such strides. It's unfortunate that it took them this long to catch up to Stadium and modders but I'll take what I can get. Let's hope they carry this quality into a future game instead of making us wait 2 DLCs for it.
