Thank you for this, I had passed my 1001 and am studying for my 1002. When I saw that people were making videos on the 1100 series, my heart dropped, I thought I was too late to take the test and would have to start over.

Nextmile through Amazon will pay for me to get the comptia a+, sec+, net+, itf, for 4700 through ed2go. How does this compare to aws cloud practitioner and sys admin training / certification for the same price? I doubt I'll get a job after getting the initial 4 certs or the aws certs because I have severely lacking soft skills and no degree. But I can't just waste the free access to "education" no matter how gimmicky or predatory.

Wow just found you today after a 1101 search and wished I would have heard this about 6 weeks ago. I self studied most of whom you suggested from 4 different sources some paid for and some free also printed out and checked off the objectives from CompTia as I learned. I passed earlier today core 1 but came out of there with my jaw dropped. I think it was because of the new test compared to the older study guides. Probably would have done better if taken the 1001 instead of the 1101. I consider myself pretty smart have a Bachelor's and have passed State test for a Loan officer and Insurance on the first try but today was brutal. Well onwards to Core 2

I was searching for companies that hire CompTIA A+ help desk in my local area, sadly they all seem to be underpaying for IT jobs even if you have several certifications. The average was 35k to 40k a year, I make almost 50-55k a year in my factory job that’s a union job. So I’m disappointed in northern Indiana IT jobs for pay.
