What If Kepler 22-b Was in Our Solar System?

Earth is the only life-supporting planet in our Solar System. Until now. Today, we're bringing Kepler 22-b into our planetary neighborhood. Where would this planet need to orbit within the Sun’s habitable zone? How would you go visit it? And would you find life when you get there?

Kepler-22b is located 600 light-years away. While the planet is larger than Earth, its orbit of 290 days around a sun-like star resembles that of our world. The planet's host star belongs to the same class as our sun, called G-type, although it is slightly smaller and cooler.

It would be so incredible if we could go to another planet like this and see what we could find.

Dang this stuff is so interesting because I’m working my butt of in third grade to reach my goal of becoming a astronaut and the fact that he knows this much about space is what made me want to become an astronaut

Speaking of life, I was thinking, life could be on any planet that has a solid ground because aliens could have completely different needs for life, they could need 2x the sunlight or half the sunlight we need, and for water and food they might not even need that stuff to survive. Just sharing a thought.

Its more likely that instead of collision, Earth will get captured as a moon of Kepler 22-b if it was heading towards Earth. Because gravity is not the only player, both planet's electromagnetic forces will also interact with each other, making capture into orbit more likely. Also both planet's strength of gravity will change as a result of changes in planet's charge as gravity is not entirely due to mass of planet.

If Kelper-22b was close to our Earth that means it would be in the range of our sun meaning that it would already be habitable itself, possibly.
