Best Way for Active Exhaust Delete on a Dodge SRT or Scat Challenger/Charger

Guys seriously, quit putting zip ties on hot exhaust parts, use some type of metal wire instead, and give it an actual physical barrier if you're doing an active exhaust delete, not a simple friction barrier that can fail quite easily.

I did my with zip ties and immediately felt something was wrong afterwards. I get into the accelerator and get more of a whistling gush into the cabin that wasn’t there before. Being I have ADHD and almost always put things together backwards no matter how many times I watch a video or read an instruction manual. God made me special and I have my strong areas in life but following instructions and comprehension isn’t always one. To my question, in comparison to the left (driver side) active delete, which direction is the shutoff mechanism supposed to be in. Since I opened the box and removed the spring, I now can’t remember which way it’s supposed to go. Same question for the right side.

I currently have a code for active exhaust cause the previous owner got them deleted cant i go to a shop and have them drill a hole or something in the pipe to trick the obd sensor to thinking they are there?
