Who invented zero aryabhatta or brahmagupta?

Zero and its operation are first defined by Indian mathematician Brahmagupta in 628. He developed a symbol for zero: a dot underneath numbers. But he, too, does not claim to have invented zero, which presumably must have been around for some time.

Paripaadal in Tamil has all the numbers 0, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 in the following poem hundred years earlier than Aryabhatta:
“பாழெனக் காலெனப் பாகென ஒன்றென
இரண்டென மூன்றென நான்கென ஐந்தென
ஆரென ஏழென எட்டென தொண்டென
நால்வகை ஊழிஎண் நவிற்றும் சிறப்பினை”

இதில் பாழ் என்பது ஒன்றும் இல்லாத “0” என்பது தொடங்கி காலென 1/4. பாகென 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 என எண்களை குறித்து பேசுகிறார்.

Zero did not even come from india, it Orginated in Egypt, why? There is Old documents containing it.
