K. Kavitha, a leader of BRS, has been granted bail by the Supreme Court in the corruption and money laundering cases related to the Delhi excise policy scam. After spending five months in custody, the court decided that Kavitha's detention was no longer necessary, overturning a previous decision by the Delhi High Court. The bench raised concerns about the impartiality of investigative agencies and imposed bail conditions, including a Rs 10 lakh bond and the surrender of her passport. This ruling follows a similar bail granted to AAP leader Manish Sisodia.

No justice in India, it is proved by granting the bail to the accused. Why all these days she was not granted bail and now suddenly. We have lost the faith on judicial system. Just for having got the bail she is showing her hands as good as she has won the case.
