Are you trying to increase your pelvic floor strength? Try these maximum strength Kegels (pelvic floor exercises) in a kneeling up position. The change in balance of tension through the body when kneeling prevents a new challenge when trying to reach your pelvic floor.

In this video, we practice maximum strength pelvic floor contractions in a kneeling position. We will begin with an RPE-4 (on our Rate of Perceived effort scale) before contracting to 10, and back to 4, and again to 10 and back to 4 in a pulsing motion. These maximum strength contractions are required to trigger hypertrophy of the pelvic floor which creates enhanced strength while creating some muscle bulk. As always, consistency over time is required to achieve results.

For relaxation, we will focus on a hip flexion exercise with a strap for support. If you suffer from chronic pelvic pain, vaginismus, prostatitis, non-relaxing pelvic floor dysfunction or another hypertonic condition, you should only focus on the relaxation portion of this video.
