Fear & Hunger Guide: How To Save Le'garde

In this guide I'll show how to save Le'garde and some good ways to reach him!

Couple of things:

-I also tried saving Le'garde after spending a LOT of time in the menu (Left my game on in the menu while I did other stuff for about an hour and a half) and he was still alive. Only time spent outside of menus count towards his death timer)
- If you're playing on Hard Mode, Le'garde will always be dead, even if you literally get to him seconds after starting a new game. If you're playing on Hard mode, don't bother because he will always be dead by the time you get to him. Better to take your time.
- Le'garde starts with Leg Sweep, so you can use him to open up the door leading to Miasma. Speaking of which, Le'garde is the only party member who can use Miasma without triggering it's downside. If you rush to get Le'garde, you can then rush to get Miasma, equip it on Le'garde and you'll have an extremely powerful party member, making the rest of the game a lot easier

I didn't know about the legsweep thing, nor about Seymour having the scroll. The more I learn about this game the more hidden mechanics and tricks I find, truly knowledge is your most valuable asset in these dungeons

You know, getting to Le'Garde wasn't really the hard part for me. It was making it out alive after the crow mauler blocked the cell door.

Dash is such a help in everything in the game. Its the most important skill in the game in my opinion

I fucking did it, I finally saved Legarde as a Dark Priest and got a save in. Dark Priest might be harder to get Legarde because he's slower and can't really manage much in time. Mercenary is definitely the best one to get there in time. Dash, Lockpicking and Run.

A very important tip when going the wolf orgy route. Make sure you don't attack any cavedwellers, do not save D'arce at the time (this will turn all cavedwellers hostile), do not get the cube, just search out for a rope and lower yourself down the pit. You can grab cube and save D'arce after saving Legarde. If you take the cube, save D'arce or attack cavedwellers they will become hostile to you and come after you. Just can't have that luxury. There is a chance the cavedwellers will be all found dead, that means the moonless guards are about and you have to run from them, Dash and Mercenary's run is your friend then. If you're playing as any other class it's more of a reason not to piss off the cavedwellers. In case it's moonless guards sneak past them.

Never got to Le'garde in time, I just got to him, he was dead so I left the dungeon as fast as I could. Bad ending but what could I do. I played Dark Priest and loved to meld into Marriages for more power.

Something important to say there's crazy killer dogs from the beginning in the outside of the thicket. The dogs have motherfucking Dash and will run really fast. If you don't have Dash you can barely make it to the entrance. If you find an explosive vial best thing to do is go the semi long way down to mines instead and take that option instead. At least ghosts are slow as fuck.
