Amazing how there’s a quiet intensity to the piano originals, but arranging them for guitar makes the pieces sound more vulnerable and sincere.

As the great Roland Dyens said about Tchaickovsky and Chopin: "I both love them and hate them. I hate them because they didn't write a single note for the Guitar... and I love them for the same reason, because it gave me an opportunity to do some work as an arranger... I love arranging, its the job of a designer, the house has already been built by the architect (composer)... the test of a good guitar arranger is to make the listener believe that the piece was originally written for the guitar."

I do love the sound of the piano but there is something magical about hearing these transcriptions for guitar!

How many strings does a piano have!? Sources say that on average it's around 230...and you can accomplish such a full sound with 6!

Hats off!

Hey Lucas, I need to thank you a lot for everything you did. You might not know, but you're really helping many people(me in primis) to get inspired, to practice and to overall continue with the guitar. I love everything you do, and you might seriously be one of the most amazing guitarists. I would love a full version of Gymnopedie n. 1 on guitar by you. Know that someone will always watch a video of yours, and that you inspire many people to keep on going. Thank you❤️

Very Beautiful pieces of Classical guitar music Lucas!👏 😊, this video is actually a realization for electric guitarists like me who are always amazed at speed and how to always improve using a metronome.

Actually, I just realized that this classical "piano pieces" played on the guitar is waaay harder and technical than most electric guitar speedy riffs and solos. Not to mention more melodic. It only proves even "slow" music is actually really wonderful to listen. Cheers!

Beautiful arrangements and playing. I am a professional classical pianist and I must say these piano pieces sound really amazing on the guitar. I am now in the midst of learning the classical guitar and I love it!! I hope I can be good enough in future to make such videos of myself playing on both instruments. Thanks Lucas for the inspiration! 😊👍👏
