Even though it's overplayed, I still think that the 3rd movement of Moonlight Sonata is fire. Beethoven is becoming one of my favorite composers. I just saw his third Symphony "Eroica" performed, and it blew me away. I can understand how this piece transformed the classical symphony into the beginnings of the romantic symphony, thereby ushering in a new era of music. What an innovative genius!

Chopin really was a musical prodigy and genius. Alot of his work was done in his teen years.

Anything by Chopin, every Single piece Chopin wrote is a masterpiece. His 1st Rondó is Perfection, wrote it when he was 15, his piano concerto n1 when he was 19, so what can I say, Chopin was The Chosen One ❤

I expected chopin to appear multiple times, but not this many. And on top of all that he's no. 1. Truly a genius

I was expecting Fur Elise to be the most viewed but I am very happy that Chopin has the most views!
Edit: thanks for all the likes!

Yes, these are the most popular tunes, and there is a reason why : they were written by the most talented musicians, they are emotional, they touch you so deeply.

Ah! Nocturne in E-flat major, my favorite piece.
It just relates how life is; the difficult and better times.
The great romantic Chopin, just like I would describe myself (maybe a bit too much).

Cant believe how Choping lived such a short life, but managed to produce so many beautiful pieces of music. Truely a legend

Nice list, with some surprises:

- Chopin: I would have expected the revolution etude op 10/12 and the heroic polonaise op 53 in the most popular pieces. Also a bit sad that none of the ballades made the list

- Liszt: Maybe these are his most popular piano pieces, but certainly not his best. The pinnacle of his piano work is the b minor sonata

- Beethoven: twice the Moonlight and fur Elise. Maybe that’s right in terms of popularity, but Pathetique, Appassionata or Hammerklavier are more significant works

- pity that no Schubert or Schumann made the list - Wanderer-Fantasy, or Carneval

- Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky would also seem a red hot favorite

- Finally, absolutely no Bach? Well tempered piano, Goldberg variations, Italian concerto? Indeed a bit surprised.
