More about Kate & Ellie

Kate & Ellie are adorable, three-year old, identical twins who are both fighting Leukemia. Kate was diagnosed in October 2019, and Ellie was diagnosed in March 2020 as the COVID pandemic took hold. Their cancer treatments include nine months of weekly chemotherapy treatments followed by a year and a half of regular steroid pulses, hospital visits and lumbar punctures. While undergoing treatment, they are immunocompromised, which makes going anywhere scary, especially during the COVID pandemic. Kate & Ellie are the youngest of five children. The whole family is quarantined to protect the twins. Though they miss friends and activities, they are making invaluable family memories.

Many many years ago, when I was financially much better off than I am now, there was a child in our city, that was also battling cancer. Because, we live in Canada, she had to seek treatment in the USA with no medical insurance. So funds and money HAD to be raised. I donated what might be considered a large amount at the time. I recall my cities reaction for my city is known for having both negative and good people. The reaction was actually mixed somewhat. Meanwhile months passed by, and unfortunately in this one particular case, the child passed on and became one of God's little Angels. After a month or two, the parents of the child knocked on the front door and gave unto me a VERY BEATUFIUL SILVER & WHITE GLASS ANGLE ORNAMENT. To this day it is held "SACRED" as one of my MOST BEAUTIFUL POSSESSIONS. Allow me to congratulate ALL OF YOU IN THE VIDEO FOR A STUNNING PREFORMANCE OF BEAUTY. At this moment I am unable to donate physically with money. However, I am able to donate spiritually with prayers. I am connected spiritually threw my own personal email group, with many many spiritually powerful people who are able and willing to pray. I will work on making this happen very soon.
