I was a ballerina and sadly one day I broke my leg due to a car accident at the age of 6 and my parents made me stop it . From that day onwards I stopped dancing for 9 years, everyone asked me why I just said I don't like to dance but deep in my heart I'm scared.. im scared very scared. I actually watched ballerina when I was younger at the age of 10? it was a movie I enjoyed but I didn't get the meaning of it at that time and I realized something..everywhere I go ballet would be connected to me in some way of life, like when i was hiking my aunt told me to use the way ballet steps so I used it and it was helpful, movies like this popped out everywhere I go, my yt recommendations has ballet content, when I listen to music waltz music would come out in Spotify and movies all the time and more.. Ever since I stopped ballet I started trying other stuff like swimming, piano, acting but I found out that all I want is to learn ballet and im actually using those other activities to keep my mind away but there's always a huge part of my heart that keeps me, a ballerina inside.
I watched ballerina today when felicie danced the ballet parts I tried to dance for the first time i was pointing my feet and of course I'm not properly balanced at that moment and I would fall but the feeling is something.. something special and when I heard what Odette asked felicie ' why do you dance?' I asked myself that too so I answered ' i dance because it's a connection for me and a part of my life where I can translate my emotions to it.' lastly I want to thank the people for making this film. Felicie and Odette really did inspire me.
