I live in Canada. I planted hydrangea paniculata in my yard. It has the most amazing fragrance when the flowers are in bloom. This is the first time I planted or dealt with hydrangeas and I absolutely love it. This plant comes back stronger and bigger yearly, and can tolerate sun. I'm enjoying this plant in my yard. I planted this few years ago and forgot the name of this hydrangea, until I saw this video. Thanks Laura for sharing this video😊

@gardenanswer This is very helpful! I'm kind of shocked that they'll be selling Hydrangea (Big Leaf) here in San Diego (zone 10) since you mention that they're zone 5 plants. Mine flowered once, and no longer - it's in a partially shaded area, which I thought to be good since summers can be quite toasty here.

You said that each variety is zone 5. What do you mean by that? I'm in zone Zone 9a, 9b, 10a and there a lots of hydrangeas around this area. Thanks for more info! Great videos!!!
