Okay this is working sir, but for a excel file with multiple sheets its not working. I have tried by taking an excel file and reading a particular sheet it worked but the remaining sheets which was not read where lost, Can u help me with this issue or try to provide any link of ur github after posting this use case over there, that would be more helpful.

One more suggestion: if you don’t have permission to install 3rd party libraries, you could use pandas method to import excel file and convert to spark data frame.
